I tried this once before
In my mind it doesn't seem that long ago but as I think it's almost five years ago. I remember being sat at my desk in the old, rickety house that six University of Sheffield students used to call home. My best friend had been searching for web addresses and had emailed me using my brand-new gmail account to suggest that my name had yet to be taken for any website. I jumped on it and got him to buy christopherince.com and christopherince.co.uk and for several weeks I thought of posts and submitted them, they were even read by some people. Spam arrived in the thousands and it became difficult to keep track of the separate hosting and blog publishing accounts. It died; not fully, it's still out there in the ether, unable to show what I once wrote but locked away from view by even me. I tried a few months ago to recover it but hit a wall, I wonder if it was a sign that it was a waste to resurrect it and that any new attempt would have the same fate. Who knows. Perhaps this will last, perhaps it won't. I don't mind if people read it or if they don't. I love writing. I don't do it as often as I should. Perhaps this place where I can broadcast my musings to the world will become something. Perhaps it will wither and die like its predecessor. Feel free to join me. Onwards.
